Powerlifting Basics: Texas Style
Paul Kelso's been hanging around the iron game for a few decades or so, he's a Texan, and he can write--so when you dump these three elements into a big pot and stir the thing over a pretty good heat, the result is a tasty and fortifying blend of easy-reading instructions on how to get started in powerlifting. None of the fluff or needless complexities, but a fair amount of local Texan culture is sprinkled throughout this book. It's nice to see that you can learn these basic lifts without having to go to MIT and nice to see that some good old boys (and their girlfriends) can get into powerlifting, do well, and live to tell about it. 96 pp.
